barcelona

I don't know where this is exactly, because Mikel Falcon shows us parts of the city of Barcelona not a lot of people besides the hardcore artists get to see. Check out this nice series in a derilict factory building somewhere, which is obviously transformed into a quality hall of fame!

5pointz

Some nice Wildstyle action going on at 5pointz LIC in NYC. The pictures are found on Lois Stavsky her photostream and the pics are made by her son Dani Reyes Mozeson. Of course, more after the jump. Check the complete on-going set of the documentation of 5pointz here.

In this city they're always building..or at least pretending to because some walls around building sites have been up for so long they've become a temporary hall of fame on it's own. One of these is in the east side of town, @ the polderweg. Visible from the traintracks leading to and from the Central Station, it's an ideal location. Pictures by street art photographer StonieB (check his stream and website for more great stuff)

One of the classic halls of fame in Amsterdam is @ the schellingwoudebrug. This spot just outside the city has been a free hall of fame since long time. Pictures by Stevanovitzsch.

gravenstraat

Seriously, the best wall ever was @ the gravenstraat, Amsterdam. A small alley in the shopping district of Amsterdam containing café Belgique, which serves the finest Belgium beer. Suspected hang out of the london police, and fans of street art, they had an amazing wall next to the café which got done, redone and again by TLP and friends (Pez, Galo, Wayne Horse, everfresh and many others). I miss that wall! Nowadays it has some black board surface..dunno why exactly but it doesn't do it for me. Anyway, enjoy these deleted trasures, check the whole slideshow with more detail shots here.

Paint & Beer 2008 - Amsterdam, originally uploaded by runtoline.

Yes we're taking it back home today. We asked snub what his favorite spot was, and it was, without a doubt Villa Friekens in Amsterdam-North. This squat contains a nice hall of fame which is kept in order by DRIES. We were there last year when Snub & Friends came to do a beer 'n paint session in the freezing cold. Anyway, check out the pics!

Basel

Ives once told us about the Hall of Fame in Basel, (In Swiss, for the american visitors) which is right up the tracks. To quote Ives when we asked him about the best street art spot: "The rail line in fucking BASEL, its like wet dream for every graffiti artist/fan." So here it is, check it out! And if you have any more pictures, holla!

The streets of Bairro Alto, Lisbon - uploaded by Davide Filippino

This hall of fame was recommended to us by our friend BUSTART from Basel, Swiss. Part of the x-streets crew and well traveled through Europe, his pick was Bairro Alto in Lissabon, Portugal. This is a hall of fame just how we like it, not a designated place by the government but a whole neighbourhood overgrown in streetart. It's typical described as a real neighbourhood with a lively atmosphere.
