"Both two artists and two friends are honored this week by The Stencil Of The Week: C215 and his model Logan Hicks. In his new manner, C215 tributes to his NYC based stencil artist friend through his portrait and some elements of recall - the graphic background or electric red colours that evoke Logan’s work. It seems that this is the beginning of a series …"
"Stephen Nodine is a local county commissioner that got busted here for pot that was found in the back of his county car in a prescription bottle. He was not arrested or even forced to take a drug test, even though normal citizens would." Another ingenious work by Priest. Same shit happens everywhere, luckily some people are bold enough to say something about it :). "Going through some older footage, and I found this. Last time Bukue One was in town (about a year-and-a-half ago) with the Hieroglyphics Crew, he got down with Reps, Dread and the Denver KD Crew on the Revo wall during a Hell's Angels party of some sort (you'll notice them all over in this video). This is the footage from that day. The soundtrack is also by Bukue One. All footage by Seetwist Productions, Inc."
It's always nice to get a message from my down south friend Priest, because you just know it'll be something completely new everytime! No re-using of old stuff, but fresh of the wagon stencils! Like this one, which will be available in limited hand pulled screen prints in a while, but more on that soon! Like always, check out Priest his flickr account and don't forget the interview we did with him!
Some new work from Priest, with whom we have done an interview a while ago. The Alabama based artist hit this house which was destroyed during construction time by hurricane Katrina. The pictures were taken by Rex Dingler.
Just got a nice little update on Nose, (street) artist from Philidelphia (we did an interview with him recently). He has some nice new work and also did some great updates on nosego, his website/shop. Check it :). |
