You know when a top notch artist like Fin DAC sais he's gonna step his game up, you can expect some amazing stuff. We already saw a big leap with his wicked Samuel Beckett piece done a while ago, and after that some sick pieces in Paris, amazing freehand stuff in Amsterdam and now some next level stuff again. I love the Johnny Thunders piece he did which is recently hanging @ the lock inn, and the Jimi Hendrix piece is not bad at all either! Big up 2 Fin DAC, can't wait to see what's the next thing he'll be up to. All these pieces after the jump!
Of course, you can't keep a street artist of the streets so next to doing the hostel and the CFYE wall, the boys Fin DAC & FarkFK did some damage in town as well. Enjoy!
Not only did the amazing crew of FarkFK, Fin DAC, FAKE, Indigo, Ives. One and Nine-O paint an amazing CFYE wall, they also did a fine job in Bob's youth hostel, in the city center of Amsterdam. Nol joined in for a quick painting session as well and together they made the whole place a lot nicer to look at in general! Big shout out to everyone named above, and ofcourse to Bob's youth hostel for being open to all this art! Enjoy.
This amazing work is made by Finbarr (DAC). He recently told us he was stepping his game up, which was pleasently surprising to hear because in our views, he already has it going on! But no, Finbarr is just getting started..better keep your eye on this fella, because this is not the last we've heard of him. Don't forget to check out the interview we did with him here and his flickr account right here.
Damn! A job well done! While @ the other end of the world ZEVS is fined for his Armani 'job', Finbarr, Fark FK, Snikk and Nine-o live on better foot with the high-class designerbrand. They did some wonderfull live painting with huge 7 layer stencils in the Armani Exchange shop window @ Regent street, London. After display, the whole installation will be auctioned for charity. Amazing job guys. Got some spare room?
New interview with Finbarr (DAC) up @ cfye.com. It's a quality feature done by Nicole from Popscene.nl (or we should rather say Nicole from CFYE).
"Some people catch your eyes quicker than others. I can not recall when I first heard about the in Ireland born Finbarr Notte (aka Finbarr DAC). It was probably via the infamous photo community site called Flickr, where almost every self respected urban artist is exhibiting his/her work. I do, however, remember when I first saw the man at work. It was at the Wonderland Collective show at London's Light Bar earlier this year. I guess I can say that I was more than a bit impressed by his way of working and the final result. So, a good reason to expose Mr Finbarr Notte on CFYE."
Some spectacular work by Finbarr..now does this make you feel less of a man? 100cm x 100cm - Acrylic and Stencil Grafitti on Canvas.
On a sidenote, Finbarr probably is one of the next talents we'll feature on cfye.com! That's because we recently got in contact with the talented Nicole from popscene.nl. Nicole writes for Glamcult magazine, is a photographer, has a big love for music, street art, urban culture and is a die-hard blogger. Seems like a match doesn't it? Even better, she offered to contribute by doing some interviews we can place on cfye.com! Seeing her writing skills are far greater then ours, we're absolutely good with that. Finbarr is one of the first on her list, so stay in tune!
